School Bag Distribution Programme provides more than school supplies; it gives children practical support and encouragement as they continue their education.
In 2025, New Life Fellowship Society organized a School Bag Distribution Programme in 6 Villages, 2 Blocks, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, to support school-going children from economically disadvantaged families.
Through this initiative, 200 children aged 5 to 13 received school bags, notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essential educational materials to support their daily learning.
Supporting Education Through the School Bag Distribution Programme
For many rural families, meeting the everyday costs associated with education can be challenging. Basic school supplies such as bags, notebooks, pens, and pencils are essential for children to participate effectively in classroom learning.
The School Bag Distribution Programme was organized to provide practical educational support to children who may face financial difficulties in accessing these basic materials.
By providing essential school supplies, New Life Fellowship Society aimed to help children begin or continue their school journey with the materials they need for their daily studies.
Providing Essential School Supplies
A total of 200 school-going children aged 5–13 years benefited from the programme.
Each child received a school bag along with:
- Notebooks
- Pens
- Pencils
- Other essential educational materials
These supplies were selected to support children’s regular school activities and classroom participation.
The programme focused on a simple but important goal: helping children have access to the basic tools they need for learning.
Reaching Children in Rural Communities
The programme specifically supported children from Village 6, Block 2, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
For families facing economic difficulties, purchasing school supplies can add to the financial pressure of sending children to school. Providing these materials helped address some of these practical challenges while supporting children’s continued participation in education.
The initiative also reflected the importance of ensuring that children from rural and economically disadvantaged families receive opportunities to pursue their education with dignity.
Encouraging Children to Continue Their Education
The programme was not only about distributing school bags and educational materials. It was also an opportunity to encourage children to value education and remain engaged in their studies.
Receiving their own school supplies can help children feel prepared and motivated for school. At the same time, community support can remind children and their families that education is an important investment in their future.
New Life Fellowship Society believes that every child should have access to the basic educational resources needed to learn and participate in school, regardless of their family’s economic circumstances.
Programme Impact
The School Bag Distribution Programme successfully supported 200 rural children by providing educational materials that directly addressed some of their everyday school-related needs.

Supporting Education, Strengthening Communities
Providing educational materials is one practical way to support children in rural communities.
When children have access to the basic supplies they need for school, families can receive some relief from education-related expenses, while children can participate in their studies with greater preparedness.
The School Bag Distribution Programme is part of New Life Fellowship Society’s broader commitment to supporting children’s education and community development.
Through practical initiatives like this, we continue working to create opportunities for children and strengthen the communities in which they live.
Looking Ahead
The needs of rural children extend beyond a single programme or distribution event.
New Life Fellowship Society remains committed to supporting children and families through education, community development, and other practical initiatives that address local needs.
Programmes that provide educational materials can help remove some of the everyday barriers children face and encourage families to continue prioritizing education.
We hope to reach more children and communities through similar initiatives in the future.
